How Psyted, Began During the COVID-19 crisis, when fear and loneliness affected many people across Kerala, a group of caring psychologists came together to help. They wanted to create a space where people could talk freely and feel supported. This idea became Ithiri Neram — a free tele-counseling service that offered a few moments of care, listening, and emotional support. What started as a small initiative soon became a source of comfort for many who were struggling silently. As the need for mental health support continued beyond the crisis, the team realized the importance of building something more lasting. This led to the Revival Project, which focused on helping people rebuild emotional strength and well-being. From these efforts, Psyted was born. Today, Psyted is a mental health initiative led by experienced Malayali psychologists, working to make mental health care open, stigma-free, and accessible to everyone. Psyted continues to listen, support, and empower individuals and communities across Kerala.
